Breastfeeding is one of the most natural things that most mammals do, aside from of course, reproduction. I could go on and talk about all the benefits to the mother and child both financially and health-wise but you probably see that in every other article about breastfeeding.
Today I want to share something new... a recent breakthrough. Just a few days ago the IRS deemed a breast pump "medically necessary" which means that you can deduct the cost of your pump if you itemize your medical deductions on your tax return. This is all going in the right direction...
IN MY HUMBLE OPINION: the more support we have for families that breastfeed their children, the easier it will be to help others make an informed decision.
