What is it? These are cloth shells with a disposable insert that is flushable.

How does it work? Snap the plastic liner into the cloth shell and then insert a disposable liner. When the liner is done you bring it to the toilet, tear each side of the disposable liner, let all the stuff fall out, drop the remaining liner in, and then swish around the contents to break it up before flushing.

Cool Features: I found this diaper to be very form fitting which was nice and was not very bulky. I did not however like how the velcro fastens front to back (instead of back to front like other cloth diapers and disposable diapers).

Practical Point: This is a good option if you want to use a reusable product that won't put a lot of urine and traces of solid waste in your washer. However, this is one of the messier options when it comes to cloth diapering because you have to hold the soiled liner each time you flush. Also, the toilet typically isn't very close to where babies are changed so you may have to travel pretty far to complete the job.

Do I recommend it? I think it is worth a try if after reading the above sounds like something you are up for. After I ran out of the disposable inserts I decided to try something else.

Quantity Recommended: This varies, especially since they sell different sized shells based on weight. This is NOT a one-size-fits-all version.

Age: Newborn 8-14lbs
